The rescheduling of the Kirk Brandon show means thats the end of shows for 2020. We only managed to fit 4 shows in this year due to the pandemic but what 4 beauties they were. Sell out shows featuring Kirk Brandon , Dreadzone & Pauline Murray . Gig of the year was a show which sold beyond all expectations featuring a band who in my opinion have released the album of the year. Working Men’s Club . This band will be massive once normality returns, I’m glad we caught them when we did.
The last Fast Forward show before Covid-19 struck was a sold out show at The Georgian Theatre on March 7th

I have promoted over a 100 shows now. Most on Teesside and the majority at The Georgian Theatre. It’s fair to say I couldn’t have achieved what I have without the help and support of the venue and it’s staff.
Now in these difficult times the venue could do with some help and support itself. Like so many others the venue is closed and has no revenue coming in.
To help the venue to carry on promoting live music, helping independent promoters to put on shows, supporting local acts and carrying out many other activities in the local community the Tees Music Alliance has began a Crowdfunder campaign to help it get through to the other side .

Following the latest advice from the Government on the Coronavirus situation, Tees Music Alliance and the Georgian Theatre have advised that all shows will go ahead as planned unless the Artists themselves request to cancel or reschedule.
The Pete Wylie show scheduled for March 27th has now been cancelled. The show will be rearranged and a new date is being sought.
Tickets purchased for the original date will be valid for the new date although refunds can be obtained from the point of purchase.
These are unprecedented times and the situation is changing frequently. Keep checking back on this site, Facebook, Twitter & Instagram for any further updates.
Above all everyone take care, look after each other and look after yourselves.
And please don’t hoard food & bog rolls, there’s really no need.

First show of the Autumn/Winter schedule sees the return of the Tyneside troubadour Martin Stephenson
Martin is an outstanding singer and songwriter, whose career in music now stretches back over thirty years of critical acclaim and relentless touring.
The Daintees became one of the first bands to sign to the Newcastle based label Kitchenware, releasing a string of albums until disbanding in 1992. Martin has played literally 1000’s of shows, both solo and with the reformed Daintees. This will be his 3rd solo appearance at The Georgian Theatre. Each show is unique, there is no set formula, just great songs mixed with fabulous stories and jokes along side a total engagement with the audience.
Tickets available from the venue and usual on line outlets.
Latest confirmed show features Allan Crockford’s other band The Galileo 7. Allan is of course a current member of Graham Day & The Forefathers and has previously been in a who’s who of the so called Medway scene having been in The Prisoners, The Prime Movers, The Solarflares and played along side James Taylor and Billy Childish. Quite some pedigree.
This show is a joint promotion with Good Hip who regularly feature up and coming young bands at their excellent “Get Hip” nights at the Music Lounge in Stockton. Well worth checking out.
Tickets are on sale now for the show which takes place at The Westgarth Social Club in Middlesbrough on Saturday 8th April with support from Thee Strawberry Mynde.
Theatre of Hate have now been confirmed and announced for a show at The Cluny in Newcastle on Wednesday 2nd November. The band will be touring to promote the first new album in over 30 years entitled “Kinshi”
Sound Reaction will be opening the show and possibly a third act to be added to the line up.
Tickets available on line now from SEE Tickets
I was gutted (in more ways than one!) when we had to reschedule the show that was due to take place in Newcastle last year. Now though delighted that we’ve managed to find a suitable date and can announce The Dustaphonics are playing at The Westgarth Club in Middlesbrough on Saturday November 26th.
The Dustaphonics are quite simply one of the finest live acts you’ll ever see!
