Ticketing Options

I’ve decided to streamline my on line ticket options. From now on I will not be using We Got Tickets or Ticketsource. (Tickets purchased for shows obviously remain valid but are now off sale via those outlets)

Tickets will be available from the dedicated Fast Forward SEE Tickets account here.

Tickets are also available for shows at The Georgian Theatre directly from the events page on their web site here. Tickets for events at The Georgian are also available from Sound It Out Records in Stockton (in store not on line) subject to an admin fee.

Tickets for shows at The Westgarth are also available from behind the bar in the club – check for opening times.

The most cost effective way to buy tickets for any of my shows is by buying direct from me using the dedicated Pay Pal link – there are no booking fees/postage charges that way and by using the link I do not incur fees from Pay Pal.

Kitty, Daisy & Lewis

Extremely pleased to announce that Kitty, Daisy & Lewis are the latest confirmed show for 2019. Taking place at The Georgian Theatre on Saturday June 8th this will be one of the highlights of the summer.

Kitty, Daisy & Lewis have come a long way since they broke through in 2006 with their second single, the exhilarating ‘Mean Son Of A Gun’. The trio of siblings, from a musical family – dad, Graeme Durham, an engineer at London’s Exchange studio, mum, Ingrid Weiss, the former drummer in post punkers ‘The Raincoats’ – have since then cemented their reputation with three critically acclaimed albums, 2008’s self titled debut, 2011’s ‘Smoking In Heaven’ and 2015’s ‘The Third’, and their fourth, ‘Superscope’, which is quite frankly their most accomplished to date.

Described as “a gift to those of us who still believe in magic,” London sisters & brother Kitty, Daisy & Lewis Durham are an extraordinary trio of songwriters who can play any instrument they lay their hands on.

With sales of over a quarter of a million albums and sold out headline worldwide tours, they have also opened for Coldplay, Mark Ronson and Stereophonics.

Their latest album Superscope is a sparkling analogue production, recorded in their vintage studio in Camden Town. Kitty, Daisy and Lewis are often pigeonholed with the retro tag, but Superscope is no genre exercise. Yes, they are proud of their influences – R&B, blues, funk, jazz and soul – but their music is cast in their own image. “There’s no nostalgia, no recreation of past eras,” says Daisy. “It’s a mixture of all of our minds, a real melting pot.”

“And most importantly,” says Lewis, who never wanted to be a musician in the first place, “it’s a real gas”.

Starting out young, they have inspired audiences and gathered an impressive fan base from Amy Winehouse to David Lynch. Each rotating on different instruments with a live set that includes punk-infused pop, R&B, jazz, soul, blues, ska, country, rock ‘n’ roll and more, Kitty, Daisy & Lewis mix up genres to perfection!

Tickets are available NOW from all the usual outlets.

Spear of Destiny – New Show

Kirk Brandon Press Picture bt Simon DrakeThe latest show to be announced sees the return of old friends Spear of Destiny for a midweek Westworld warm up show.

The band are currently on a month long jaunt around America and are going great guns by all accounts. Once they return and are suitably refreshed the band head out on a small run of shows ahead of their incredibly popular Westworld weekend in Crewe. The tour kicks off with a return to the Westgarth Club in Middlesbrough.

The show will feature several tracks from the  classic “One Eyed Jacks” album which this year celebrates the 35th Anniversary of it’s release way back in 1984.

Tickets are available on line from SEE Tickets, from inside the club if you call in or can be purchased directly from the Fast Forward without booking fees or postage costs by using the paypal link below.

Support comes from local band The Relitics who have established themselves on the local scene and beyond as well as playing several festivals along the way.

How Many??

Having been prompted by a message from a friend I had to check and discovered that the recent Fallen Leaves gig was the 94th I have been involved in promoting. I say “involved” as 30 or so have been co promotions and I cannot take sole credit for all of them. Others might but not me.
Anyway, 94 down, 4 announced, 1 waiting to be announced and 1 waiting on confirmation of offer (or not!) for June. Assuming it’s accepted then that would make the A Certain Ratio gig in December the 100th. Unless of course something else crops up first!
